The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) is dedicated to collaborating with and addressing any shared Veterans’ issues and concerns for the State’s Nations, Pueblos, and Tribes.
Recognizing the unique challenges and sacrifices made by our Native American Veterans, NMDVS remains committed to fostering a strong partnership with the State’s Nations, Pueblos, and Tribes. By working together, we can ensure that the voices and needs of our Native American Veterans are heard and respected.

Webinar Learning Series and Conference. Registration: Participation in the Learning Series is open to Native and Tribal community leaders, advocates, and service providers committed to supporting the health and well-being of AIAN SMVF. By registering, you’ll gain access to expert-led sessions and practical strategies that can strengthen suicide prevention efforts in your community. Registration links are provided in January of each year.

Copayment Exemption: Eligible Native veterans enrolled in VA health care no longer pay copayments for health care and urgent care. Veterans can apply by submitting VA Form 10-334 alongside official tribal documentation to VHA Tribal Documentation, PO Box 5100, Janesville, WI 53547
