The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) will join the Pueblo of Laguna community in welcoming the 2026 Run for the Wall riders as they pass through New Mexico, honoring veterans and raising awareness for those still unaccounted for, including Prisoners of War and those Missing in Action.

NMDVS Cabinet Secretary Jamison Herrera will be on site to deliver remarks as part of this important stop, recognizing the service and sacrifice of veterans and the continued mission to ensure they are never forgotten.

The event begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Khe Sanh Historical Marker on Old Route 66 (State Road 124 at milepost 17), located about half a mile east of the I-40 off ramp at exit 107 near the I-40 Khe Sanh Bridge.

Run for the Wall is an annual cross-country motorcycle ride that brings together hundreds of riders traveling from California to Washington, D.C., stopping along the way to connect with communities, honor veterans, and promote healing.

Community members are encouraged to attend, show their support, and stand alongside veterans and their families.
